Our Story
James Beard-nominated brothers Jeffery and Michael Mastro have spent their lives defining and reinventing the fine dining experience. Building off the success of Steak 44, Jeffery and Michael teamed up with their father Dennis, and business partner Scott Trolio to open Ocean 44—a unique seafood restaurant serving the freshest high-quality seafood and world-class USDA Prime Steak & Wagyu selections sourced globally.

While looking through our menu, you’ll find a variety of delicate and robust flavors ranging from sweet sea-harvested oysters to rich and complex black truffle sauteed Maine lobster. We pride ourselves on serving the highest grade of sustainable, fresh seafood from around the world and feature mouthwatering prime-grade midwestern corn-fed beef.
